Academics
Admission and Withdrawal
Rules for admission
The management has made the following norms, according to which pupils are admitted to or retained in the school. New admissions are subject to the availability of seats. Admission is granted to students of transfer cases depending on the availability of seats in each class. An entrance examination is conducted in the major subjects of the class. The result of the entrance test is displayed on the notice board on the given date and time. On the basis of merit in this entrance examination, students are given admission.
Parents and guardians are required to fill in the proper admission form and pay all preliminary fees. The date of birth should be entered in the admission form at the time of admission and, once entered, cannot subsequently be changed. Incomplete registration forms, and those without the relevant documents, will not be accepted.
The birth certificate must be submitted
The original birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation, along with a photocopy, has to be submitted at the time of admission in the kindergarten section. In the case of Catholics, a baptism certificate is required.
For admission to other classes, only a certificate countersigned by a competent authority of the concerned school board will be accepted.
Rules for withdrawal
If parents wish to withdraw their child from the school, they should make a formal application for the same in their own handwriting, using the format in the school diary. This should be done three days before the date of withdrawal.
Notice of withdrawal should be given one month in advance, or else the fee for the following month will be charged. This notice should be given by the parent or guardian. Those leaving in April must pay the fees for May and June.
A transfer certificate will not be issued until all dues are paid. The application form for a transfer certificate is inserted in the school calendar. The certificate will only be given during office hours, three days after the application has been submitted. No certificate of any kind will be issued without prior application by the parent.
